3ch counts as first tr
Finished size approx: 32 x 33 inches

For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-
350 grams of King Cole Melody DK Yarn
4.50mm & 4.00mm Clover Crochet Hooks
TENSION – 4tr and 2.5 rows measures approx 1 inch

UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Made in an even number of chains.
With 4.50mm hook, make 122ch, 1tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr into each ch to end. Turn. (119tr + 3ch)
2nd Row – 3ch, 1tr into each tr to end, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn.
Rpt 2nd Row until 69 rows have been worked in all. Turn.
Border – Change to 4.00mm hook, 1ch, 1dc into stitch at base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, 3dc into top of 3ch, work 2dc into each row end down first side of blanket, 3dc into corner, working along starting chain edge, work 1dc into each ch to end, 3dc into corner, work 2dc into each row end up second side of blanket, 1dc into corner, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.
Working 3dc into corners and slip stitching to first dc on the end of each row, work 3 more rows in dc around blanket. Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn.
